Opportunities come to the one who is ready
The difference between being the smartest, most
award-winning individual yet standing on the same spot year after year with no
progress, and being not-so academically smart with no awards tied to your name
yet moving from one level of promotion, progress, bigger and better opportunities,
lies in what we have done with the choices at our disposal.
Opportunities come to the one who is ready. You
may not have the best strategies or a carefully thought-out plan about how to
advance in life. You may be swamped with challenges, such as indebtedness,
bills to pay, financial instability, low skills, or perhaps you did not have
the opportunity to attend the best schools or have the training, certificates,
awards, and connections that can set you apart from the crowd and prepare you for life’s
best opportunities. Yet, the unsavory experiences, struggles and challenges are actually enablers that
can be transformed into opportunities to transport you to where you ought to be.
It is often said that we should not allow our backgrounds to keep our backs to the ground. Our challenges in life should not deter us from dreaming big, thinking like champions or aiming high. Our thoughts are directly linked to the realities we meet in life. They are ours alone, safe with and within us; treasures that we shouldn’t always share with others.
A positive mindset attracts the heart’s desires
faster than a negative mindset which pull you back. However, thinking positive alone, is
not enough. There is a secret formula and you can find it here.
