Tech Meets HerEnterprise

Have you visited www.venussbay.com?

TechHer, a community of support, learning, and collaboration for women working in technology believes that peer learning and interaction is necessary for retention and acquisition of new skills.
This thesis has been tested several times during the past year via our outputs: coding and web development experiential trainings, digital marketing, enterprise development, and legal/business registration classes, and also through various offerings on social media.
One year into her existence, TechHer now proposes “Tech Meets HerEnterprise,” a one-day two-pronged event designed to share experiences, enable enterprising women to be mentored and set up a marketplace for female business owners to exhibit their products and expand their business horizons and contacts.
This one-day event will marry technology with the current most favorable career bloc women find themselves in enterprise. The event will achieve the following:
* Offer aspirational, real-life stories of ordinary women enabled by technology
* Provide on the spot learning opportunities from our Digital Learning Booths
* Showcase 100 female enterprises cutting across fashion, health, food, hospitality, technology, consultancy, and agriculture.
* Provide a ‘starter pack’ for today’s entrepreneur: inspiration, funding, and e-commerce knowledge
* Present TechHer’s first year report to the public
* Unveil TechHer’s (and Nigeria’s) first female business directory via the website and event brochure
* Present TechHer’s activities and projects for the year including our Continuous Development Learning Programme
* Match female techies and their enterprises (business or social) with potential collaborators and investors
