December 2015, with over 30,000 carol singers convening at the Eagle
Square Abuja, Team Nigeria will take a giant leap to set a new Guinness
World Record for the Largest Number of Christmas Carol Singers.
The record was previously held by a group called CENTI in Bogota, Columbia, with 15,674 carol singers in December 2013. However, Akwa Ibom’s Godswill Akpabio Unity Choir broke the record with its 25,272 member-choral group on Saturday, December 13, 2014.
